I come from a small town between Florence and Arezzo and studied Foreign Languages and Literature at University of Siena; I led a happy Tuscan-centered life until I went to study abroad as a Junior, and that experience changed my life.
Since then, I have traveled around the world, always worked at an international level, and lived in different places, including almost 9 years in London (which will always feel like a second home).
In 2016 I moved to Florence to join the Marist Italy team and have loved it ever since. Knowing that I can help students enjoy their experience abroad as much as I did is incredibly rewarding. As Student Services Coordinator, I help them adjust to life in Italy and go through the immigration process. I also organize cultural activities and trips, and manage the group of students who work in the office with us. All of this gives me an opportunity to get to know students well, and makes it very hard to say goodbye when they finish their time at Marist.
When I am not at work I love walking around our beautiful city or the hills that surround it, doing yoga, watching movies (Florence has an amazing offer of old school film theaters and outdoor cinemas for the summer), and talking for hours with family and friends while sharing a good meal. I am also pursuing the Masters of Public Administration at Marist, so during the semester a good part of my spare time is spent studying.
